Texrat, I appreciate what you have done for the community, but I believe that all of the work you have done is now undone by the move to Moblin and the death of Maemo 5.

Well, I'm trying to hope that's not the case.

One real regret is that the community outreach materials were starting to look really good, thanks in large part to input from the community. I was just about to start sending that stuff out to event organizers, too-- glad Quim stopped me...

Have no regrets TexRat.

It can all be summed up by this: Maemo is open, Nokia is not.

I hope I can still be a part of this community - the N900 is a fantastic device to develop for and use. Unfortunately this move just makes the future of the N900 even more uncertain. OpenMoko was killed by bad business decisions, let's hope the N900 doesn't go the same way.
