Well, try reverting gconf/libgconf packages, booting will look slower (it really isn't), but you may get lucky. Here are the diablo debs (you just need gconf2 and libgconf2-6): http://repository.maemo.org/pool/diablo/free/g/gconf2/ |
Re: [Announce] advanced-systemui
heh, i reboot rarely enough that it is not a major issue. Especially know now that i can wiggle alarmd and/or mce to get things back in "working" condition ;)

Re: [Announce] advanced-systemui
I've added a drain rate overlay to the battery applet which can be seen here.
To install you will need to run asui uu; asui dt; asui it; asui da to upgrade the convenience script, install test binary and the statusbar test applet. Then restart statusbar applet. What do you think of the icons? Have a better idea for them? Since green is used for the charging icon I combined ASUI's green and gray into a single gray overlay and added an additional transition at 2.0 since maacruz suggested 4 colors. What do you think of these transition points, should the transition to orange be higher than 2.0? |
Re: [Announce] advanced-systemui

Re: [Announce] advanced-systemui
Weird. I powered down the n800 at least a hour ago. Now it suddenly played the nokia power up tune...

About the update rate, it doesn't seem to update; I mean, it seems to be showing the average drain rate for the last hour, instead the drain rate for the last minute. |

I can probably add a 60 second timer in the applet that resets when it receives a drain update otherwise it will request a 'decaying' update from ASUI. That way the applet's rate will decrease with time when no BME updates are being sent, just like ASUI does when the battery widget is visible. Quote:
