Very useful post! Thanks for you sharing. I think if you could use OBD2 tools,everything will be easy. And i found a Chinese OBD2 Wholesaler which supply cheap OBD2 tools. Thanks again!

Do you know what source code means?

I gave you the link where you can download the source of busybox, both the standard one installed on your N900 as well as busybox-power.

If you want to do what MohammadAG said, you need to download the source code, patch it to your liking, and recompile/repackage it.
