Re: Boost N900! :)
Good luck. Someone else will have to test the revised script for distortion as I've decided to bug out of N900 ownage. If anyone needs tips on testing, PM me.

Hello SavageD
Great work Look for your update. One question is it works with maemodder and his Swappiness and Page cluster? Thanks anyway |
Re: Boost N900! :)
Script updated
Please read the first post. Some things you should note: The are currently 3 volume levels (mute, medium & Loud) for the earphones (those used for phone calls) however it's volume has been increased, I have added documentation though I'm not finished, and to those looking to play with the values, do not mess with ihf.parameters (speakers) unless you know what your doing. If anything you should play with either ihfandheadset.parameters or lineout.parameters (headset and headphones respectively) to have a feel of things. The scripts are now completely safe to use with either maemodder or swappolube. This time i think a lot of people would be satisfied with the audio :). |
Re: Boost N900! :)
Hey savaged,
After testing your latest audioboost script, i found that there's only mute and max volume even for headphones, nothing (medium) in the middle. the audio awesome but it's pretty damn loud that i can't bear listening for 5 mins. any way to get around the volume control? |

Or, are you using the script that redirects the audio for Qradio to work properly? The issue you are describing occurs only when you change all the values in this line: x-maemo.alsa_sink.mixer_tuning = ( - Values) to positive values. x-maemo.alsa_sink.mixer_tuning = ( + Values) Anyone else with this problem? |
Re: Boost N900! :)
nope did not change any values in the parameter files, and I have Qradio installed but didn't use any extra scripts for it. could it be the problem?
edit: here's the values: PHP Code:

Re: Boost N900! :)
Is it only the headphones/headsets that are affected?
Also are you using the audio script for qradio ? Really important that I know this. Qradio isn't a problem, it's just the audio output script, i need to know if that's the problem since I can't reproduce the issue myself. |
