Power On alone!!!
 

Hey i have several problem with my n810



I put completely off my tablet before sleeping

but in the middle of the nigth, my tablet power on alone...without i touch it!

So weird



how this can be possible and how to fix this problem...cause now....when i wake up my tablet battery is completely drain and is very anoying for me


This bug happen when the tablet is on charger or not.

Are you sure it powered up in the middle of the night, or did it power up just a minute or so after you powered it down?

Yes surely! i power off maybe 5 hours before he power on alone in the middle of the nite for shure.

And this issue is not one shot....that happen several times

Maybe, a problem with your power button... he turn on alone after a fixed time or aleatory?

aleatory! sometime when is on charger...and battery very low...in charging mode....he shutdown alone and reboot too



i think is a problem from battery maybe....maybe a new battery can help...but i wanna be shure is not a ''software'' or ''OS'' problem or others kind of problem before touch the ''hardware side''

It is a rtc/retu feature to be able to wake the device at specified hours.... but I have to wonder which program could have used it. Maybe you have some alarm clock, calendar event ... ?

Are you sure it's the same bug and not two separate bugs?

If it turns on when NOT on a charger (when OFF) then it's an alarm.

It it turns on when CHARGING that's the BME reboot bug.
The problem is a firmware bug that is marked WONTFIX and seems to be triggered by "old"/dead batteries. If you have another BP-4L battery try that. If not, if you have an external charger (or another way of charging the battery outside of the N810) try that.

However it may be a different bug altogether. You should clone your OS install to a SD card (as a backup) and then re-flash the N810 with Diablo 2008.5-47. See if the issue continues.
