psfreedom.ko hermes v4 is here for omap1 n power 40 (drizzt84)
 

hello.

First of all, i would like to say thanks to drizzt84 moderator in ps3news and a creator of Gaia Manager, last couple days i have asked him to compile hermes v4 for us and he is agreed to compile for our N900, :rolleyes::rolleyes: which is awesome. For those didnt know what is hermes v4 for and differences between hemes v3 and previous.

hermes v4 allow you to play games which require firmware update version 3.42 and above, so for those want to play medal of hornor then this is it..

for omap1 version apply psfreedom.ko in /opt/psfreedom/modules/omap1/

and for power kernel v4 do the same step above but instead omap1 goes to power kernel.

step to play: (example MOH)

USA version copied to internal drive, Only change was PARAM.SFO change firmware 3.42 to 3.41
(make sure to use correct region version (ie USA for USA ..lol)
Gaia Rc9 - Hermes 4b
Game disk in drive (any game)
Patched mode - Gaia (L1)
Launched game from Disk Icon
Updates and installed fine.

So putting it in that folder makes Mo's gui version use it?

yes...just click jailbreak and dont touch the BD emulation leave it alone.

I got rid of it in the latest version, can't see any /dev/xxxx that needs patching so, yeah...
I replaced it with a firmware list (3.01, 3.10, 3.15, 3.41 - with 3.41 as default)

hello everybody, I would like to know which the different between Omap1 and Power40 is. I have been reading the several blogs, now I am enjoiying the most backups in v3.41, with Backup Manager and PSFreedom 0.3-4, last version I think.

If I have understood right, I just have to copy the file I download in the address you say, omap or power, any of both, I think, and change in the game, the file sfo, 3.41 instead of 3.42.

Please, tell me if I am wrong, and if I need to use other kind of programs as Open Manager 2.1 to run MOH for instance.
