after PR1.3 installed, music player appears some albums 2-3 times.
i delete all music and video files and still there are the albums in music player but if you press to one song then it tolds you that it cant find the file.

what to do?how i can update the albums,list etc to the media player?

and if there are not way to fix it...which player you suggest me?

Hi,

If you go online to your googlemail account settings you'll see the tab with filters. Did you set anything there? Do you see any of them mentioning "skip inbox"?

Previously I was referring to the exchange server but it seems the same issue exists in other types of accounts.

I tried update my N900 to PR 1.3, but it said "only with pc or ovi suite"... But I have no Windows... :-)))

Where can i find Nokia Ovi Suite for Linux?

You can also use flasher from CLI on your linux box. User power search.

Remember to backup and additionally itīs recommend to copy backup files from n900 to your desktop pc before doing any hankypanky.

You most probably have some conflict packages. Check "Problems" tab when trying to upgrade OTA. Then just remove these packages and you will be able to upgrade OTA, thus preserving all your personal data and applications.

No filters activated. :/
Still not working. Really annoying issue.

Very interesting. Is it that all your messages to open require that you open first the mail application or just a subset?

One more question since I don't use the Nokia services, do you connect using Mail for Exchange? If yes, do you have MfE folders application installed too?

have try this, unfortunatelly still not change the keyboard map and execute setxkbmap -layout en but still no change :(

Try powering down your device and taking the battery out... after re-inserting the battery and powering up again, see if your lights have come back?

hi. I update my nokia to PR 1.3 vr first i install the global firmware

RX-51_2009SE_20.2010.36-2_PR_COMBINED_MR0_ARM.bin
and after i put the vanilla

with flasher 3.5 but during vanilla reloading at 99% advancement I get this error

. my phone is working and the version is changed to 20.2010.36-2 but i have some problem with image folder in my phone memory they are not recognized with my phone and the kmplayer also not able to play the KVM files. please help me i had this problem with PR 1.2 also before. i am working with windows 7 (32) in my PC.

It wasn't supposed to work with an incomplete flash, you will likely have issues forever. Also, this PR 1.3 bugs. You need to be in a flashing thread. Perhaps open one?

For me is the same.
I also understood that sometime when I try to call or video the connection is not established and it gives me "general error" and then closes. The red led that indicate the camera is on, however, remains active. In these conditions it is impossible to make or receive Skype calls or videocalls. To return to normality I have to reboot the phone.

i have this problem since Pr 1.1 , you dont need to reboot , just do 'killall skyhost' inside a terminal ...

Bug 1: i cant seem to find the release / changenotes

Ok, aside from that, i updated to PR 1.3 this weekende, and i must say it was a bad decision. I should have sticked to "never change a running system".

I mean, yes it works. But i have some major stability issues (Had to reboot my N900 twice in the last three days because it crashed, thats unusual) and it seems as if something change to "it will work, but it may take a while" to "either its fast or it wont work at all".
Its like when im multitasking, an app suddenly will start to show strange things on the display (like a half built windows) and the crashes. That never happend to me before. Everything feels less stabil.

So, what did "THEY" (like in the X-Files) change?

Since update to 1.3 I've developed a problem with my email account.when i created the account it worked nicely.But later on doesn't show new messages.what to do.By the way I'm very much new to linux.Thanks in advance.
p.s this was not present in 1.2

No email issues. Make sure you go through the settings again. Auto retrieve interval, on what connection, etc.
