Re: Flash 10.1 Comes To The N900, Well Sort Of...
didn't TI reply to people requesting it that they won't supply it?
what about licensing? e: have you been able to create my TI accounts recently? I just tried and it seems that there is some kind of bug in the form. |
Re: Flash 10.1 Comes To The N900, Well Sort Of...
TI closed the form to developers only (and it's picky even then).
Some tmo users were successful in getting the file - yes Flash 10.1 on N900. They won't give it to us though... what a community! Anyway, there is no GPU/hardware acceleration with that file. |
Re: Flash 10.1 Comes To The N900, Well Sort Of...
This isn't news, and already covered in the big Flashplayer 10 thread. I'm sure Adobe have said it is down to Nokia to distribute (and presumably pay to license), since it wasn't included in the PR1.3 update I doubt we'll ever see it from Nokia, so our only hope is for Adobe to have a change of heart and make a download available. This TI offer is only for developers, so it isn't a solution for most users.

Old news. Very old news.
It's a month or more when I applied for it... and guess what. I didn't get it. I know why: because it's not for end users like me or 80% of TMO members :) So don't get your hopes too high. |

Does the standard flash player have hardware acceleration? It's not exactly super smooth.
