And what exactly are those? User who doesn't know how to enter correct command in xterm. Should xterm be guessing what user actually wants? Have you even take a look at his screenshots? Or are you as skilled as he is with xterm so you didn't notice his mistakes? Linux is case sensitive OS. And xterm works just fine WO any issues so please stop spreading false statements. :rolleyes:

i did a fresh install of PR1.3
installed titans kernel and overclocked again to lv 250-900 MHz.
installed all the applications i had with PR1.2, no problems so far.
everything seems to work OK. Even FM radio works with no problem.:):)

edit: sorry, now is just 10%. It's incredible how we get from 70-80% to only 10% in 24hrs :D

There is no Flash 10.1.

If you got the developers-only Flash 10.1 from TI, you shouldn't need help here, as you should be able to figure out what happened, and what to do about it.

PR 1.3 does ship a flash update, so regardless of how you updated, the libflashplayer.so would have been overwritten, you probably need to re-install the one you got from TI.

After upgrading, I first only installed from the "standard" repos.
I didn't notice any problems with those apps (but didn't test long enough to be sure). All of my OVI store apps seemed to work fine.

The problems started (as you'd expect) when I re-installed apps from the 3 extras repos.
Two apps which had problems for me were the status menu plug-ins:
Advanced Power Monitor
Advanced Interface Switcher
(The apps froze the status menu immediately after installing. After a reboot, neither shows up in the status menu, and the battery level indicator no longer showed up in the status bar).

I've twice had to reflash already because of some conflicting app that shuts the device down and then stops it from booting again properly.
(But I haven't been able to work out yet what is causing the problem).

I'm now going to do a complete reflash (including eMMC) and test more carefully what the cause of the problems are after that.

For the sake of those that are nervous about upgrading, maybe it would be worth making special mention of the apps from the "regular/approved" sources that are not working (or are working) - and distinguishing which repository non-working apps come from.
If the various extras repos are enabled then seems quite unreasonable to expect all the apps to be working safely as soon as an OS update is released.

Fixed the problem by unistalling power kernel.Now it is working.

It's most definitely not related to power kernel. Unles you maybe have some additional modules loaded. I don't.
Remove sygic completely, install power kernel and then install sygic again.

as stated in another thread, neither netstory nor freoffice are working anymore after the upgrade...

I think this is because power kernel is replaced after the update. Use this to fix Mobile Hotspot:

1. Uninstall Mobile Hotspot
2. Restart your phone
3. Open xterm and login as root
4. Enter the following command:
apt-get install --reinstall -y kernel-power kernel-power-flasher
5. Press Y on the prompt and restart your phone after the reinstall
6. Reinstall MobileHotspot
7. Restart your phone.

Should be working again. You may cut on the restarts to shorten the steps but that's the sure bet to get it working.Hope it helps.

Yes, there is a "segmentation fault" error at netstory. Strange, it's only a python application that shows stored data from a database. The Daemon application seems to work just fine.

advanced-power. I have done 2 complete reflashes (the second one just to see if it would fix the problem and it is a no go. all that happens after installing this app is my battery candles (both on the home screen and in the area you click on) go away completely. grrr....

BarrioSquare doesn't work at all on mine, even after a few reinstalls. It seems like it's the PyQt4 version as running it from the terminal I get
RuntimeError: the sip module implements API v8.0 but the PyQt4.QtGui module requires API v7.1

i dont even get that....when i attempt to open the player for about 5-10 seconds it tries to start....then goes back to the desktop.....hope someone can fix this soon please.
