Re: Advanced Power V0.4.2-4

The 0.5.0 update fixed my battery issues!

The issue was that every time I would charge my phone, as soon as I unplugged it, whether it was fully charged with a green light or not, it would instantly say the battery was empty and start beeping for a few minutes, then it would normalize, but say that I only had around 70% battery left.

This community rules! The weird thing is, this is after I switched to the Nokia BME Alternative. This issue has been there since I got this phone (it was a replacement for my original that was fried by a bad car charger).

Well It seems that BQ27200 is ****ed up.
N900 shows 70% of battery before it shuts down because the power of the bat is totally drained (it happened to me twice).
I'm testing BQ27200 alternative right now. If it doesn't work like before, I'll use nokia BME.

Hi,

you must deinstall advanced-power-monitor and advanced-power with

apt-get --purge remove advanced-power-monitor advanced-power

as root on console. By this procedure apt-get give you a message that some directory could not delete. Remove this directory and install both packages again.
After this and a reboot everything working fine on my n900.

bye
