Good to hear! And once again sorry for the inconvinience.

I don't quite follow you. Do you mean that you'd like that the widgets background was fully transparent? It is now translucent as the other shortcuts on the desktop.

Finally I have succeeded to create a working package in Extras-Devel! Just tested it myself and it seems to be working fine.

A very big thanks to Nicolai and MohammadAG. And of course thanks to all who have contributed in this thread.

I uninstalled the manually installed package and installed through App Manager. If you wish to do the same then uninstall running this command as root:Otherwise just update with App Manager.

Please test and if you like this app, please promote it.

hello and thanks for your application. I've downloaded the last version but I'm still unable to see all the bookmarks. I don't see the bookmarks that are inside folders. Any help?

Would you mind posting your bookmarks xml or clarifying the folder structure you are having, so I could fix the problem?

I'm trying to install the Shortcut stash via App Manager but installing fails. It looks like it installs it fine but in the end an error pops up: 'Unable to install Shortcut Stash'

Any idea as to what might be wrong?

Did you have it manually installed before?
If yes, try to uninstall it first with dpkg -r MaemoStash and the install with App Manager. If still no luck then reboot and try again.

One thing to check is what version is the App Manager showing for Shortcut Stash? The correct working version is 0.1-5. If the version is below that then refresh the app catalogs and try again.

@rooster13: thank you for this useful widget. some comments/wishes:

1) use of filebox instead of the default fm
2) list of bookmarks are incomplete, folders dont appear
3) vertical mode
4) if an app is already opened (for instance xterm) maemostash should switch to that app instead of doing nothing
