Yep, in order to do that though, I would have to do a setup like yours. How yours and mine differ is that your charger connects directly to the battery cell itself, bypassing the circuitry on the battery itself. Pic of mine:

I think its the circuitry of the phone, sending signals to the battery, which is also being sent back to the charger, which is confusing the chargers.

So the only way I see this working, is to get a setup like yours. I have ordered a Mugen cover which should be in in a couple of weeks. I have also ordered 2x Japod batteries.

In other news, the batteries that come with this charger arent bad. I dont have a way of measuring accurately, but so far 6 hours of medium usage. That is about the same as my original nokia battery. Taking the wrapping off the batteries says they are 1200mah printed on the metal... if thats accurate. not too bad a price...$14 for a charger and 2 batteries.

Well if it is printed on the battery then it is 99.9% sure that that is the capacity of the battery, so thats not bad, put them together and you have mugen capacity
And for only 14$ without the 10$ cover, that's not bad. :)

my thoughts exactly. Just got to wait the 3 weeks for the cover to get here from Hong Kong... thats how long my batteries and charger took.

I tried to donate some money to you for all the help youve given me, but I am not familiar with the language from your link in your tag. Are you able to provide an English link?

The mugen cover comes a little faster in my experience, can be anything from 1 - 3 weeks

The donate button has been updated to ENGLISH language :)

Being the OCD that I am, I don't think I'll be able to wait until my mugen cover comes in before I start joining these 2 batteries together.

Just before I destroy another battery, just want to go through how its done. Couldn't follow the pictures too well. Does this diagram look about right?

Where there is only one battery circuit, which runs both bare batteries. Just before the batteries connect to the circuit, there is a breakout cable which connects to the 2mm charger. Correct?

OCD tell me about it... :D

Yes the drawing you submitted is correct, be careful when taking off the plastic top, the top is almost always connected to the battery by "flat" cable/wire (like wire tabs).
It is usually glued together so just work it back at fourth until it kinda lets go, remember to cut away some of the battery cover paper at the top (just below the plastic top)
When you have the top loosen a little you will see the wires connecting the battery to the circuit, what i normally do here is keep bending the top to the sides until the wires brakes at the battery, this also provides better soldering pads for solder to hang on to.
Then unsolder the wires off the circuit. (Note: the circuit is generally different on all battery's, can't say how precisely the wires are located or how to disassemble the circuit from the top, if necessary)
You of course have 2 tops/circuits so if you ruin 1 you know what not to do on the second one, and i have ruined a couple so far :D

Just an quick update:

if you want to buy scud battery's here is the link for 2x only not 3 or more, and again buying from suppliers will almost never mean 1x only

http://www.aliexpress.com/product-gs...olesalers.html

And yes the price is right 17$ for 2x 1510mAh battery's

Do you have wires soldered directly the the N900 battery terminals?

If so, it wont work (sanely) without a 100 ohm resistor between GND (-) and BSI (the shortest of the 3 pins).
