My N900 is giving me low-battery warning pings. I have Scud batteries and my battery status is listed as 87.1%. Strange...

Edit: Switched to Mugen batteries. Still getting low battery pings with status at 100 percent.

The frequency of the beeps gradually decreased and they went away after about six hours. All I've been able to guess is that a drop of moisture fell in the case and triggered the beeping, then slowly evaporated? Other theories welcome.

Spent a couple hours trying cantruchd's method, but have so far failed to make any wire that's thick enough to stay in & proper length to connect, without blocking the cover from closing. I'll try some more another day, hopefully with better luck. :)

I have now got and installed a scud battery.
What is the best way to charge it.
In battrygraph the highest I got is 4188mv and 1223mAh

Do I need an external charger to top-load the battery?

As stated a million times before, the reported mAh is not accurate, just charge it normally, only way to get the last 2-5% is by using an external charger that takes it to 4.23V, normal external chargers will not do this.

So again just charge via USB.

So I ordered Scuds from DX - and they are very good.

However I only want two - and when I ordered it was one or three. I got three in their beautiful boxes (OTT anyone? :)

So I have one un-openned brand new scud here which I could ebay.... or sell at cost +PnP if anyone in the UK wants it.

I have my scud since 1 week, my old nokia batteru was almost dead, it's so wonderfull with this new one!
