Re: [ANNOUNCE] External Keyboard Support - extkbd

Please I have a problem with my keyboard SU-8W.
When I first installed the extkbd the pairing with my Nokia SU-8W keyboard was excellent.
My problem started when I installed the latest version of bt-hid-scripts. Now I can not use the SU-8W keyboard. I uninstall the bt-hid-scripts and nothing. What I can do?

sudo gainroot
apt-get install --reinstall extkbd xkb-data-extkbd libconbtui0-hid

and if the above does not help please ask on bt-hid-scripts thread/bugtracker as I have no idea what exactly bt-hid-scripts does.

Hi

brought back the old picture BckupMenu

uninstall
- MmmRemotePhoneControl
- Bt-hid script is not installed
- Modified evdev Xorg driver - if it does not conflict with extkbd?
- Our original rx-51
- Unistal extkbd extmou

-Removed bluetooth paired devices
-Clean / var / lib / bluetooth ....
-Clean rotfs (Clear apt cache, Remove unused dependencies, Purge unused configuration files)

- Apt-get install - reinstall xkb-data
- Apt-get install extkbd extmou

achievements
- Letter keys (no key numeruw, no special keys CTRL ......) Check with different settings - no change

*Help now what ?????????

try with
apt-get install --reinstall extkbd xkb-data-extkbd libconbtui0-hid

seems that bt-hid-scripts overwrites xkb-data, and from your post it seems that you've re-installed xkb-data, which is incorrect, it should be xkb-data-extkbd

Re: [ANNOUNCE] External Keyboard Support - extkbd

Pressing "Enter" the N900, with the physical keyboard closed, from an external keyboard launches the N900 virtual keyboard. Addition does not change the text line.

Any idea how to fix it without having the physical keyboard open?

With keyboard closed on N900 I used Ctrl+Enter on connected USB keyboard to break the line. I have virtual keyboard turned off so I can't tell how Ctrl+Enter affects it.

Qole unfortunately does not answer me. Additionally I found that when I uninstall extkbd and then reinstall it always displays the SU-8W keyboard Is there a way to delete it? Is this the problem that blocks the reconnection of my keyboard?

@emotion - delete /usr/share/hal/fdi/policy/20thirdparty/99-x11-external-keyboard.fdi
