Minimum Frequency won't stay?
Can anyone tell why when i change the min frequency to say.. 250Mhz it changes itself back to 125Mhz? I'm using Enhanced Linux Power Kernel 2.6.28.10 on pr1.2
Thanks in advance Nath |
Re: Minimum Frequency won't stay?
was it before configured to 125mhz???
try this: load the profile first and then set up your limits root kernel-config load lv (for example) kernel-config limits 250 900 (for example) and so on |

kernel-config limits 500 1000 kernel-config show then shows min500 max1000 but after a short period of runtime (no particular time) kernel-config show then shows min125 max1000? I've tried the avoid frequency code but no different. Any ideas? |
Re: Minimum Frequency won't stay?

Re: Minimum Frequency won't stay?
I cant even get the kernel to load, when i install and reboot the phone, and goto terminal and after root access type 'kernel-config load lv' it says that the kernal-omap1 not supported and further informs that if i just installed the power kernel i need to reboot to load it, tried many times but no luck!!

Once you reboot the OS, you can go to X-Terminal and type uname -r. If the version shown contains "power" in it then it means that you've successfully reinstalled the Power Kernel. If not, repeat the steps listed above. regards |
