Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
Pretty nice UI. While still knowing we have total control over the core OS - and can easily ignore the gui and fire up a console!
Can't do that on an Iphone or Android. |
Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
" Would love to see what they do with two months and two developers ?"
lol |
Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
I agree with @demos. It's definitely nice and definitely inspiring but would be a poor choice for consistent use.
Cool idea though and just demonstrates the potential for Meego in the long (or maybe even just the short) run. |
Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
if they can make it in 1month time with 1dev why cant we?

Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
Hehe :)
Think about this like developer. Reverse Parallax effect!. Imagine on your n900 background is moving faster than items in front of you. Add few more plans or work out speed of icons depend of scale) And you've done. Nice Panoramic effect. If you add aquarium on the background you can change icon style for bubbles. I can't see any reason to use heavy cannons (3D) to represent all this. And Yes, looks childish for me the way he implemented this. I can very easily implement such a navigation in Flaemo and for sure it will not take 1 month ;) |
Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
Yea, because developing a flash website is the same as developing something low level on a new platform that is still in beta stage.
But props to you! |
Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
Great for 3 minute demo. Also great for inducing diabetes.
Never want to have that as UI for my primary communication device. |
Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
Wow! I really like that.
Roll on the next awesome device. |

Re: Awesome Custom MeeGo UI on N900 and Lenovo Notebook
Hope they could optimize that to run smoother on the n900, that and a crap ton of mods so the user could change stuff around.
Could anyone else see the bubbles as being ghosts form Super Mario Bros? |
