can't cd
Hi im installing WEbos games... why cant I "cd".. whenever I type
cd /home/user/(filename)/ it says " can't cd to /home/user/(filename)/ |

Do you have rootsh installed? And/or are you ssh'ed into the N900 it as the root user?

In that case, are you completely and utterly sure that "(filename)" is actually the name of a directory? (take note of what Wikiwide said: it can't be a filename, since a file, by definition, isn't a directory, and thus you can't be "in" it - you can say you're "in" a file when you're editing it, yes, but cd isn't the command to open files in that sense. So just in case you were actually trying to cd into a file, instead of cd-ing into a directory you just happened to call "(filename)")
Try cd /home/user/ followed by ls (or ls -a if it starts with a period). Then see if that folder is actually there. If it's not, how certain are you it's actually in /home/user/, and not, say, /home/user/MyDocs/ or wherever else? Or is there anything else that's misspelled, but might be the folder you're looking for? |

what is not an executable? Preenv? Then try chmod 777 /usr/bin/preenv

not sure which one.. 1st i cd to the folder.... then i type "preenv".. then next "desktopgen appinfo.json".. then the error shows up..
