Fully charged battery gets discharged after 1 night
 

Hey,

the battery of my n900 gets discharged after 9 hours
and I do not know why :(.

No internet connection, 3g and starving kernel config with 500 and 850mhz...usually my battery lasts 1-2 days with this setting

Is there a way to find the cause of it?

Any apps running?

Any desktop plugins?

Remove one by one (or remove all then add back one by one) and see which is the culprit

no thats not pretty normal.with alarmed my phone gets in offline mode over night and i loose 2-5% battery.

Can you give a output of dmesg?

install battery graph and monitor what's going on for a few nights. Conky is very useful as are htop and powertop.
Just find out which process is waking the cpu from sleep (with 500min any wake ups are going to make a difference).

it is not normal mine works for at least 24 hrs with avrage(almost 1 hrs) of working on the phone also i m connected to wifi for almost 15 hrs in my 24 hrs!

I ordered a new battery from EBay, it should arrive in a week or so, and I think it'll solve the problem - but you might want to consider doing some of the stuff suggested in my thread, it might help you.

i got this weird problem only once! fully charged, and after 1 night, n900 was off and need to charge the battery again, After that, did not happen again.

thats not normal....after 9 hrs...my bat drop from 97 percent to 82 percent
