Ars Technica review of 770

The <strike>Nokia770</strike> 770 Fan site points to a review (long, thorough, sort of off-the-mark, at least by my lights) of the 770 at Ars Technica:

I hope to write something about this review in the blog later, but wanted to point people to it now. (I realize now that Al at 770 Fan got there first.)

I think I'll put the conlusion under the "People who want it to be a laptop" file. I'm just referring to the griping about the 770's multitasking ability. If it chunks up while having 2 web pages open and the email client, close the web pages. *shrug*

T'aint a laptop.

I strongly believe in it's potential

After using the device for a few days, I must say that this is a device that has come to stay. It fits perfectly as the surfmachine at home or on the go. I used to browse the web with a pocket pc or phones and nothing beats this device. One must remember that the OS is not even considered as finished. It is still release candidate 7. Most of the small annoyances will be sorted out in the near future, to that I am convinced.
