it looks as if Nokia's relationship with Intel goes deeper than we guessed.

The N9 is probably based on a similar platform to the abandoned LG GW990 which was shown a year ago but never made it into production. Remember this:

I don't think.performance will be an issue, the problem will be battery power. I would hope the n9 will get as good battery life as the n900 or better, unlike many of the more advanced android devices which get barely 12 hours use if you have all the features on (gps, wifi, bluetooth, 3g etc)

At this rate I can imagine Nokia merging with Intel.

It would be helpful if someone made an app to keep track of the n9 release date. I'm sure it would become one of Maemos top downloads. It could also show the worlds population and US debt as other useful information...

unfortunately said app would confuse people even more as eventually the number for US debt would be mixed with days left to N9 release.

us dept is not a countdown. So its really no problem. The app would save alot of time as well of posts dor me. Would be much appreasiated.
