How come I can't connect Gingerbread to my computer to transfer files, I have disabled debugging on usb but that didn't do anything.
Has this been disabled and if so how do I enable it?
Thanks in advance! :)

Mass storage mode doesnt work on gingerbread yet but e-yes mentioned that he fixed it and we ll have it in the next release.

hi
excuse me but i am too lazy so i cant read per posts . can some one tell me which files should i remove from previous installed nitdroid before installing Gingerbread.

You d better remove all the files from old installation. Enter to /and directory, after you mounted the nitdroid partition in it, and run "rm rf *" without ". Then extract the gingerbread rootfs and install again the kernel. Be careful to cd in the right directory otherwise you will delete your data.

rm -rf /and/*
to delete all contents of and directory after mounting required drive in and directory.
To mount drive
mount /dev/mmcblk0p5 /and
change mmcblk0p5 to the drive of your choice.

Here is a quick fix for the Android Market after following the instructions on the front page of this thread and you get the error when running the market app after rebooting after the fix and so you don't have to constantly reboot and hope for best.
Go to settings and then click on accounts&sync settings and now un tick background data and now go back to the home screen and run the Android Market application again and it will tell you that it needs this and enable it via the button to the left.
Now you may get a couple of server errors but keep trying and it will work ;)

Dont make the mistake I made when running rm /and

This is my suggestions only, doesnt matter

LMAO me too - don't mount to /home else you are fubar. Managed to flash rootfs and get everything backed up before running a reflash with both fiasco and eMMC. slap me thrice, paint me purple and call me a noob!
