Maybe I got something wrong, as from your previous posts I thought you know where the folder is /home/user/.yellownotes.

Should be doable to change the notes directory. I don't need it, as it is not that hard to save them manually. (script with queenbeecon, or shortcut maker or whatever). It's not a most missed feature I think

i switched to stickynotes some month ago because i found the switch/edit-button on yellownoted way too small.

when i open that folder from .yellownotes i can see big next and previos buttons grey in color but the widget on my desktop have small green ones. please tell me how can i replace the green small icons to the big grey ones thanks

Due to an update, you have again the original version. Simply reinstall the mod deb. (You can check this. I guess you have a small editing field again).
The original version was not really updated by the maintainer.

Thanks i downloaded old3.deb and replaced a few icons and all is perfect.

any chance of a quick reminder feature or any other works for this app in the pipes

glad you solved your problem.

What do you mean with a quick reminder option? I am still planning a scrible option and a status menu button to add copied text directly to a note. By now i lack some time and inspiration.

Reminder, where i can set a reminder for a particular page of the note say note number 2

Also what does scrible means, will it have handwriting feature

Love this widget, been using the initial version for ages. Updated to 'old3' version and noted that the edit icon wasn't showing up. seems the permissions of edit_n.png were wrong?
changed them to u+rw go+r, reset all png's to have owner 'user' and group 'users'. then removed and re-added widget to desktop and all's well!
