Thanks to all the CSSU team. You made a great work here! And really fast pushing the 16.5 update solving some issues there.

Thanks to J4ZZ for the tip for fixing the CSSU Features Fatal ERROR problem.

I have one question for all the people here, as I think I never read this on TMO: Is it possible to make the desktop go portrait by holding the phone upside down? I mean, with the headphones and hold button up, and the charging slot down. I feel unconfortable having to reach the hold button below the phone rather than above. Just wondering if it is an easy to achieve modification or if it would imply redefining lots of things.

i think there was a hack to do so.... to rotate freely all 360 and to have portrait/landscape no matter how you turn your phone...

Right now, Theme Customizers and CSSU Features are not able to work together.

yes i do agree if TC to be part of CSSU.... right now TC does not works together with CSSU features configuration.....the only way we can make them works together is to add options in TC either to use CSSU tuner or CSSU features configuration or by editing the transitions.ini files....
as we know TC & CSSU tuner come from the same dev's (have left maemo & go to android) so if any other dev's can take over the maintains TC & CSSU tuner please makes this 3 apps/program works together for the gud of CSSU....

Just wanted to say I updated last night via terminal, absolutely fine, everything working smooth inc Camera-UI and calculator etc.

Thanks to everyone involved with this update, N900 just keeps getting better and better!

yes many times, now it doesn't even try to do anything

0 to upgrade, 0 to install

tried removing the enabler and reinstalling it too. The same thing.

the funny thing is I got the new calculator and some other new things (the funnier thing is that on the other N900 I got the cssu successfully but not the osso-calc)

Where you find the "whitelist" ? I can't see this in the transitions.ini, I see only "blacklist"...

Anybody knows the name to put in the whitelist for the virtual keyboard? I would like most of the applications to stay in landscape (so force rotate is disabled) and keep a whitelist for certain applications. The browser is on my whitelist but when i enter a textfield the virtual keyboard shows up in landscape.. So i need to know the name of the 'binairy' of the keyboard. Thanks.

I've just upgraded to 16.5 and the problem with kasvopus and twimgo that I reported has been fixed.

I'm using twimgo 3.0.6 and kasvopus 1.2.1.

Thanks to all CSSU team for the quick fix!

Maybe you have the same problem I had. Check your "transitions.ini" file, and look under "thp_tweaks" section if you have there "blurless_saturation=0" or equals to 1 or so. If you don't have it, add it. Then CSSU Features would work. If not, or in case of doubt, go back some pages from your post (less than 5 I guess) and find a post from J4ZZ giving the solution and paths.

P.S.: By the way, I don't see why I help you. It seems you didn't notice a "Thanks" button/link below every post. But I tend to help people, it's in my nature I guess :)

Well, today I did an apt-get update and then an apt-get upgrade.

I had only 2,5 mb left on rootfs /

Well, two apps couldn't install because of full rootfs partition (modest and osso pdf reader).

Now I cant boot. Well, it boots but after the boot video it restarts.
I suppose it's happening because OS integrity is bad because of these two programs that couldn't finish installing because of the full rootfs part.

What I could do? Is there some way I could boot without reflashing the OS again? I would rather try to not reflash it because I had A LOT of customised settings.

Any way to do this more easyly, there are situations that I want to be always in portrait mode, but there is situations that I don´t :)

You can install "CMD Shortcuts". It provides a very easy way to execute commands by creating buttons that trigger the command you set. Very useful for me.

EDIT:
You could create 2: One to set that value to "true" and another to set it to "false".

You could also use "Queen Beecon Widget". Very useful, but with far more posibilities. The first solution is simpler (it's just an application).

Yes, you can reflash the kernel only. http://wiki.maemo.org/Updating_the_t...rt_topic.21.29

I did that recently. Worked a treat.

Cool, I will try that....
But what I was thinking, and would be on my wishlist, is, like when in landscape, touching in the clock, there is on menu "Orientation Lock" to lock in landscape mode, it could lock in portrait mode IF the screen was in portrait mode by clicking in the same button!!!
