@leetnoob: the qt mobility methods to change stereomode do not work. If you open app from terminal to get the debug on, after you start the radio and press ctrl+S you get the current stereo mode: 2 is for automode, 1 for mono and 0for stereo or viceversa. Pressing ctrl+D should force it in stereo, but as you try again ctrl+S it still shows 2.
I'm looking to change it through sys interface (/sys/class/i2c-adapter/i2c-3/3-0022) when I find where the stereomode is saved.

.

Can you please explain more carefully how to run the program in debug mode from X-term?
Furthermore, Is it possible to optimize the output to play in Stereo even if reception strength is weak? I have no problem of hearing the wide static noise as a price of loss.
I really want to use this program on daily basis.

Just open x-terminal and than
Code:

/opt/qradio/qradio
App will start and the debug messages will be sent on the x-terminal from which you have launched QRadio.

Re: [Announce] QRadio

Thank you for your fast reply!
I read between the lines now and figured out the output sound isn't changed even when Stereo is forced.
I also wander: is it possible to change freq region to Europe for a more accurate tunning, for example 87.75?

Re: [Announce] QRadio

Yes, accurate tuning is possible with a kHz precision, but since stations are positioned with a 0.1MHz gap I have restricted it. Also, default value of tuning from class for fm band is 0.1MHz.

A problem I encountered with a more accurate tuning is that the seeking increases freq by 0.1MHz aswell, so if you are at 87.75, seeking will check only if signal is >0 for stations 87.75, 87.85, 87.95 and so on, missing any stations in those frequencies.

Why do you need a more accurate freq tuning anyway?

It's not that critic though I have some frequencies from the local cables like 107.45 and tuning 107.4 or 107.5 won't receive it properly. It's Europe after all ;-) But the most urgent issue for me is the need for stereo.

Re: [Announce] QRadio

hi,
now that stoping the radio if a phone call comes in is working, it would be cool if qradio would also start automatically the radio after the phone call is over!

Also could qradio have an autostart feature, so that it automatically starts the radio after startup?

Oh, and how about a rec button;)

I'm with the rec feature request.

After auto scanning the stations, the radio stations stop working. The bluetooth comes on and off on its own. Could you check into this?
