Exactly, and it will be called N9. I hope it is the one in all the pics (with HW keyboard), who knows? But, the thing is, the U8500 architecture runs MeeGo with the same ease as it does Symbian, and so will the N9. The N9 will be a Symbian device with the ability to run MeeGo. There is no other logic explanation.

your definition of logic is illogical

Try reading the first post in the thread instead of pretending to be oh so important.

The N900's successor should kick all smartphone's butt. Neither of both speculated processors can guarantee that.

I'd say, as long as the upcoming Duke Nukem Forever port runs 60 fps average in full HD in portret mode and one can finish the single player on one charge, the device will be instant buy! ;)

the important thing in that video is that there's an xterm in Meego

Fan thought of the day:

It is most probably that N9 (or what'ever the N900's successor's name is) will be released after the IANA's IPv4 address pool will be depleted (less than 10 days remain). It is ironic that most probably it won't have IPv6 support :-)

Where the guy works is irrelevant, but that is only obvious if you take time to read the link and see the videos.

back in december a Nokia executive announced that in 2011 these things will arrive:

half 1 will bring 1GHz CPU's and boosted graphics chips
half 2 will bring dual core CPU's and true zoom cameras
New Symbian UI rolls out over the year with 50 new enhancements/features

many blogs quoted that these things are for symbian but that was never said ppl just assumed that b/c the new UI rollout plan was announced.

there is many sources with nokias plan for 2011
