I'm getting a new Maemo 5 software update showing up in Application manager.

Is this for real? I'm currently backing up before installing, but wondered if anyone else is currently seeing this as well as I thought we weren't getting any more new updates?

what is the version you have installed?

is it 20.2010.36-2?

Nothing here, are you sure that it is 1.4? It might be just a bug or something.

Yes, I checked the version and it's 20.2010.36-2.

I have just disabled all the dev and extras catalogues and the Application Manager is searching for updates, but it's taking quite a long time.

I'm hoping this isn't some sort of tease and that the update is still there. I will report back as soon as I have any information.

Edit: It has been searching for updates for nearly 10 minutes!

I'm guessing you have probably recently reflashed your N900
And used older image by mistake and not noticed which is why your getting pushed a update.
