Thanks! But it would be much useful if allows to select which contacts I want to get notification with.
When I go online, I have usually ~70 contacts onine and ~700 overall. And sometimes I wait just for some people to be online.

Gee man, you never stop to amaze me with your apps. Kudos

So can you, or will you support log/history for notifications? I mean kinda like pidgin's system log where I see the history of who just get online/offline on certain time?

There is an application, friend status, which at least
logs the status messages.

There will be no notification, when you go offline. I explicit suppress
those notification as it should only shows notification when
your contacts go offline/online.

and it always works after that.

Yes, this is the next step on my todo list.

Is it possible to make the notification that appears in the top left corner, to be "clickable", so that it would open an im conversation with that contact?

edit: thanks for a great app :)

Yes, I've tested this apps, but as you said, it only logs the status message, while for those who just switch back online-offline and so forth without ever using custom status will not get logged in anyway

So if you'd consider this as an added feature in the future, I'd be grateful :)

and yeah, I seconded divan's idea about custom contacts as well

Re: [Announce] Presence Notifier

again, great app! thank you!
btw. what about...

- on/off notification sound.
- free positioning of on/off notifications. ( I would like to have it bottom right corner, fade in and out from the right) :)
- multilingual
- option to set custom notification background image.

Re: [Announce] Presence Notifier

@NightShift79

the positioning and appearance of the notification window
isn't configurable from my application. Some parts
of the hildon package are responsible for this.

The sound notification is on my todo list.
