Re: Uktube Out!
Did you install mplayer? Because it needs that to play the clip.
|
Re: Uktube Out!
Yep, mplayer was already installed. The problem is that it would get stuck downloading at about 3600k each time. The full videos were always around 10000k. It would just appear to get stuck at 3600 or so. Wasn't able to get it to play anything at all yet.

Re: Uktube Out!
I have bee able to get 15 MB clips play just fine. Might just be that the UI ha jammed. Have a look at mmc1 and see if the file keeps getting bigger even after the stall. The UI was made in a hurry and does not work too well. If possible, post a link to a file you had problems. I might have the time to take a look

Re: Uktube Out!
Wow. We are getting closer and closer to a solution where people won't even know there was previously a problem!
Great stuff. Can't wait till you have a chance to take this to the next level as you envision. Roger |
Re: Uktube Out!
Nice Job on UKTUBE. I like it. Before, jerky, out of sync YouTube videos. Now, the video is sync'ed and I actually am enjoying YouTube on my N800. I'm a smilin'!

Re: Uktube Out!
Am I the only one? When I click the 3rd link of the post on UK blog, it installs the media center (vers. 1.3), not UKtube :-/ Any idea? TIA.

You may have been caught out by the same thing I was when installing the 'Media Centre' application to a directory other than 'Extras', namely, that the UKTube programme is placed under the 'Extras' directory regardless! Have a peek at the programmes under this directory and hopefully you'll see it. ...graham. |
Re: Uktube Out!
Very nice idea.... but one small complaint.....the video seems to be losing some frames when all 3 applications... web, ukmp and mplayer work simultaneously.....but when i close all other applications and open it directly with the saved file using m player..... it plays perfect....any thoughts???
