streaming increases temp
streaming a video increases my cputemp upto 50°C and battery start getting warmer , which scares me alot and i have to close it :(
any solution ? |
Re: streaming increases temp
Since when was 50C a bad temperature?
Theres no problem with that CPU fine, battery i'm not sure. |
Re: streaming increases temp
are you overclocking your phone? im 90% sure you are! if so dont overclock too much. you will heat up the battery then it would hold charge!

but now as you have proved it wrong so i need to work on my thoughts :P |
Re: streaming increases temp
Knock it down to 850MHz, see how it behaves.
But I think streaming would be giving you CPU a bit of a caning. When I check for updates, install apps or watch Youtube over Wi-Fi mine hits 40 - 45 degs. |

-lmao- :D
poor n900 :D |
Re: streaming increases temp
If you stream from your PC, you might think about encoding the video on the more capable PC.
Even on TV-out the N900 does not need the highest quality of streamed video. Still depends on your media streaming software. |

This seems to be the way of doing things, especially when OC'ed :) |
