are you overclocking your phone? im 90% sure you are! if so dont overclock too much. you will heat up the battery then it would hold charge!

Knock it down to 850MHz, see how it behaves.

But I think streaming would be giving you CPU a bit of a caning.
When I check for updates, install apps or watch Youtube over Wi-Fi mine hits 40 - 45 degs.

Even if you drop it down to 500, you will reach 50^C, no problem with that. All CPUs have 60^C as deadline, even with PCs. Just make sure you won't go over 65^C.

but that battery heat up thingy ?
does it happen cause of high overclocking ?

Actually, it is natural for the battery to heat when handling heavy tasks, streaming for example. OCing justs aids the heating up a little bit. The best solution to do is to strip the N900 while doing its things :D

-lmao- :D
poor n900 :D

If you stream from your PC, you might think about encoding the video on the more capable PC.
Even on TV-out the N900 does not need the highest quality of streamed video.
Still depends on your media streaming software.

This seems to be the way of doing things, especially when OC'ed :)
