Ehh.. I dislike it more that I like it. Too much advertising. I don't like the fact that they but the app's name instead of FaceBook across the top. Also, I don't like that it says their app's name on my status updates. It would be nice if it said "...via N900". Also, I don't like how notifications disappear after they're viewed. It should keep the last 6 or 8 notifications up.

Kaspovus Login from various locations around the world!

Guys, is me the only one having issues with login or everyone?
every time kaspovus wants me to authenticate, facebook informs me of a new location/country(/continent!??) This is very alarming. It would be great if it can stick to one location, more appropriately stick to the same city where i live, rather than loggin from DEU once, USA next etc!! doesnt make any sense. right? more scary I would say!

Yeah, it's getting better with each cut, looking forward to the next cut. I really like the notifications implementation; although it's buggy (counter will go in to neg numbers if you keep clicking on a notification).

Great work but I liked the Kaspovus button being the options menu. It's a little crowded on the right now with both the options and comment button over there.

The functionality to view Albums and photos within them existed at the last release. With this release, you can also view a picture that is in a post (but you still need to go to Albums to view more than one picture).

i got the same problem on this latest version just likes the previous one....

every time i comment on my own status my comment will suddenly jump to other people comment....
how awful to see my comment jump to other comment....i have to say sorry dozen of time for commenting on something that is un-related to they status at all....

does other have the same problem as i did??????

Somthing really wrong with it well at least mine, i posted a comment today on a friends wall, the comment dissapeared and ended up on some random friends wall and their like wtf.

Uninstalled app will wait for bug free version, good job so far though.

Samething here . . . also opens different walls when clicking on it. Guess it's something with different layers and underlaying buttons stay active so it goes to the wrong one.

Move your phone around (to get the accelerometer moving) which will wake up the login page.

this happens to me too every time i run Kasvopus..this screen appears and asks me for my log in informations everytime even when i choose to save my username and password.

using microB login to your facebook then go to...

privacy setting-apps & website setup....

go to kasvopus & delete it...exit microB & open kasvopus...this time it will try to request permission to use kasvopus for your facebook...after you allow it then problem solve...

It switches the login page between landscape and portrait, which forces the "blanked" login page to appear. This is also documented on the comment thread on the dev's site by the dev.

Seems like a very nice app, but i have some questions regarding install:

The QT and QT webkit needed for the install, is this something i already have installed or how do i check?

If i download the deb at kasvopus.com, how do i install it? What's the code to install from a .deb through xterminal?

You have the required QT support if you are running PR1.3. To check, go to Menu->Settings, and under the General area, click on About product. It should state Version 20.2010.36-2.002.

To get the images working properly, you need to install Qt Hotfixes from Extras:

http://maemo.org/downloads/product/Maemo5/mcsp

As for installing it, go with you N900s browser to kasvopus.com, select the Download to N900 button, and save it somewhere on your memory card/internal memory. Then, go to file manager and just tap on the file (which is a deb installation package), and it will launch the application manager which will guide you through the installation.

Thanks for the easy step by step guide! Couldn't find QT hotfixes when searched in the appman so I guess i already have it. Installed went flawlessly! However the client says that my account doesn't exist...

Edit: A simple reboot seemed to fix this!

we just need a "share" button, to share some post, event or photo thru the kasvopus...

for exemple, if I enter in a new post on my wall, there is the buttons "back" "wall" "open in browser" "like" "comment" and a new one: "share"
