When you get an error, try
sudo gainroot
apt-get -f

You need to log out and log in again, it will then prompt to allow checkin.....it isnt obvious, but the 'Allow' button is off the bottom of the screen so you have to scroll it up.

Can't check in either. logging out and in doesn't help.

Edit:

It seems to have worked even though it gave an error. Maybe you have to quit kasvopus as well to get rid off the error message.

there another simple way...remove the kasvopus from your application list on your facebook using microB first then open kasvopus to get the permission from facebook to use it on your account..this is the proper way when you upgrade any applications that need permission to connect to your social account.....

I had this problem too. I cheated, and fixed by first installing Twimgo from the extras-devel repo. That brought the right libqtm thingo with it.

I tried this but it brings the libqtm-12-declerative instead of the 11-version, so when trying to install Kasvopus 1.1.0 it still says it is missing packages..

The author updated TwimGo to use the 12-version, so installing this app as a workaround isn't working anymore.

Hopefully, the next version of Kasvopus would use 12-version too.

Just wondered if the Kasvopus button at the top of the app is supposed to do anything. When I press it nothing actually happens.

Depends on what screen you're on, it takes you back to the main feed after looking at a particular post.

Thanks for that. I was pressing it like crazy when I was on the home screen which is probably why nothing was happening.

I am getting fed up with this application, the developer should just put it into repos, it seems like every time a new version comes out everyone has some sort of problem!

Since latest cssu update, kasvopus is wierd.
it works but buggy with black screens or blocks...

yes. try to enable the extras repo first. if there is still problem, enable the extras-testing. if still problem too, extras-devel

how about this report I got:

libqt4-declarative is already the newest version.
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:

why can't I login to Kasvopus? I've just install it again and it shows me "Error Facebook API returned 400..". I tap more and then Logout, then it shows me login screen but do not accept my user name and password. I don't have Kasvopus in appl setting in fb.

I get the same problem as rmarcus:

I also have CSSu v16.8 installed but no dice, 1.2.2 won't install with the same error.
