BUMP! taking baby steps here,1st can I get the MCC codes to display the carrier without doing a search? where would I put the MCC 310 = Tmobile?

-install it
-opet xterminal and write:

callerid --daemon (enter)

(do not close terminal)

In /opt/callerid/ make file at.txt and write something like I did in ba.txt for Bosnia.

Thanky, but I don't know what to put in the at.txt. Whats the numbers?
Don't I need a .xml file?

Well, you can write this:

1 Wien / Austria
01 Wien / Austria
316 Graz / Austria
0316 Graz / Austria
512 Innsbruck / Austria
0512 Innsbruck / Austria
...and so on

(City prefix) (TAB) (Name)

I'm not sure about this .xml thing.

i really have no idea how to use this thing on my N900 so i am gonna need you guys help to test it .
queries :
does it trace an unknow number ( from any country and particularly from canada ,montreal ) ? i mean the number of the caller should be appearing as +12345678908. Can we achieve that other than the location of caller ?
If yes ,how should i proceed after installing it ?
