Do any of the WebOS apps work? Or is it not worth risking the installations?

What about the other unsupported games? Or best to wait until they are on the next update?

Are the other unsupported games supported by the WebOS Games Manager App? - no, but other games are supported by Preenv if that's what you mean.

I updated the angry birds seasons to match the newest St. Patrick's day update. It only has a new picture and description so there is no reason for any normal user to update their files, I just thought it would be nice to have proper description for the newest update in next update of the program. This doesn't repair the problem of not being able to install both normal and seasons versions at the same time. It is caused by the fact that both have just "Angry Birds" written as a title in the appinfo.json file in the .ipk (the manager makes the games data folders by that info I think).

Thanks to the exact explanation why it can not install both versions. As for sessons I immediately installed version 1.3.0 ipk and its regular, and play, as you say, this is just an image of the installation, a shortcut is a regular of St.Patrick

Hello, I created the files to add to the list of supported games "FIFA 10" ...

Extract the archive and copy the folder "fifa10" in MyDocs

Open X terminal:

Does anyone have any news on the bug which means installation of an ipk never goes passed step 4? Left one going overnight last night and still on step 4 in the morning. Is it a case of going back to previous version, and if so does anyone have a link to that?

I had the same problem with Driver - left it running overnight and it did not install. When I selected cancel installation it appeared to have installed ok ( the yellow message screen came up with controller info ) however when I selected play it would not start.

Regarding the WebOS App Manager - there is no way to add working games to this until a new version comes out under Download Manager is there?

Just a quickie - been playing Asphalt, when I restarted it had lost my progress so far. I have gone into options in WebOS Manager and selected a save folder, but still the same happens.

Any ideas?

Why do I get the do not have permissions message when I attempt to paste the files in the relevent folders? I can copy and paste it into other files but not into /usr/share/wgames/gamesinfo/ini/

There are quite a few games I fancy trying to get working, Doom, PGA, etc

Problem is, I can obtain the game files, but where do you obtain the .ini and.ch files from that are needed?

Also..........has anyone managed to get Driver working - NONE of the versions I have found installs

Driver works great (much better than the PC version), but to install it, you need version 0.6.8 of webOS games manager. With version 0.6.9 has been reported by many users, a bug that blocks the installation of many games in step 4 ...

I'm working to create files for other games (Real Soccer 2010, Brother in Arm) ... I could not run the 2 best game for me ... Gangstar and SandStorm ...

Also how do you save and restore games - read the first post again and does not explain.

Tried uninstalling webOS and installing it again then attempting the .deb download - same problem im afraid

EDIT - saw this on page 2:

Got it installed by updating preenv and installing binutils using apt-get install -f

However tried this and still no joy - grrrrr

are there any *.desktop-files of the games?!
I want to add them in my games folder but there aren't any .desktop files in /usr/share/applications/hildon that I could use.

do you know any solution for this problem or are these files at an other space?!

If someone could help - would be most apreciated - tried to roll back to an earlier version so I can play Driver (the one I wanted to play most!)

But I get a binutils missing error message.

The version I have does not seem to install Driver, Earthworm Jim & Speed Forge

Unable to play Avatar after update. Tried reinstalling Manager as well as Avatar game but everytime I try to start the game it starts but crashes to desktop after the first two intro pages (the one with gameloft logo and the next with Fox logo etc.).Is anybody else facing the same problem?????

Cheers managed to do that - however Brain Challenge will not install now and neither does Driver still (lots of red error messages)

But Earthworth Jim does install,

Not sure if I am doing anything wring here or if others are having the same problem?
