Live profile has already sent out beta invites for symbian tester and are send out some more this week, according to their twitter. Next on the list should be maemo 5 (fingers crossed).....

Hi guys. We're still alive and developing the app. Symbian is going to be our first target, very shortly followed by Maemo 5 (days if all goes well).

I'll see what I can do to post a beta here sometime soon.

I have told my friends (from Android, BB and iPhone) to use it and wait for me until I have it. Some of them have moved out for not having any contacts, but I expect them to come back.

So, I'm ready for testing. Is there any release date? I don't know if the beta is expected to come this month, next month, or in 3 months...

Its an app being made for you, stop complaining and let them develop it! Damn people, ur sounding like a bunch of ungrateful kids! Be happy that they are making this app for our DEAD end product that is hardly gonna get them any money..

@cutehunk04 I don't know where you got that information but that's not true.

About the symbian beta's, we gave them out to a handful of very select people. I apologize if you haven't received a beta yet but you'll have to be patient.

We will be expanding the selection very soon and I'll try and post something for you as soon as possible.

i know you guys are working hard to get lp up and running for us and that great, but i think people are getting a little restless, myself included. i've been after an app like this literally for about a year, if not more, so you can imagine my anticipation.
you ought to give us something to calm us a bit while we wait, i know it's not your call, but see what you can work out, the sooner the better.
i the mean time we'll be waiting

Yes, a Maemo version is planned, shortly after the release of the Symbian^3 version.

Right now, I own Nokia X7, E7, N900 and soon the N9.
Also own iPhone4, Galaxy Tab and Omnia7.

But my fav phones are N900 and the N9. =P
So I'll definitely try out liveprofile when it comes out for both.

as we come closer and closer to the end of august and after seeing some screenshots which was very nice I was wondering will there be a landscape option in the maemo version and is there gonna be beta testing for for it?

WELL HARD TO say but i guess this thread is almost to an end and we shouldnt be hoping about it... if the maemo developers can try to do something then it would be possiable or else i dun find any chance to hav it ....

Is this application compatible with whatsapp users? Or only compatible with other Liveprofile users..

Hopefully the symbian version will be released soon, he promised a maemo versin after that :)

So I really hope that they are still making one for it.

This type of app is the best app to quickly share photos with others. (built-in camera support etc) Right now with my N9, I can't send/receive photos quickly with someone with their iPhone/Android phones and chat at the same time.
