Maybe urban areas, such as the one in which I live - Chicago, haven't been hit by the hype yet. I have yet to see a single grandma/pa, HomeDepot cashier, dental hygienist or mechanic sport one. They all still seem to be carrying Samsungs, LG and Nokia phones.

Now, speaking of PT Cruisers, when I lived in San Francisco, I saw those everywhere when they first came out. Granted, San Francisco is a much smaller city, but they do tend to gravitate to the hip thing more so than other large American cities.
