You mean like.. say Rockplayer on Android? The one that plays just about every codec and container under the sun? That's kind of what I wanted to know. Is it because of Flash? Is it an FLV or MP4 stream that he was playing on the N900? That would make sense, right?

Like I said, I think iStuff used some app. I used an open stream with KMPlayer. Maybe it's more robust to use open solutions compared to a closed app? I don't know. The stream: Look up NRK1 in worldtv99. But it may be closed (or show only a poster) to foreign users.
