This is a different kind of competition and ergo off-topic! :p

Please create a new thread. This one is only about the MeeGo Coding Competition 2011. So please keep it clean. :D:D:D
Anyway, thanks for the donation update. ;)

I would like to remind everyone who filled in at the wiki to submit the app at the official submission site: http://competition.meetmeego.org.
Only those apps, which are submitted there are taking part at the competition.
But no hurry, the competition still runs for nearly two months..

[sigh] Why is it always me? :(

I've got good news for the MeeGo Coding Competition and sad news for myself...

The good news: There is a new submission at our Submission website. :)

The sad news: My submission has the Index Number 13...

Oh NO! Is this a bad omen? Will my small App whipe all your data? Will your Device get alive? Will it bring a lot of pain? Will it support Skynet to track and find you at the Judgment Day?!
I hope not... but perhaps we never know. ...I'm afraid...

would there be any issue in also publishing an app for the competition on the Ovi Store for symbian, or should i wait until after the competition? The ease of cross-compiling from Qt is awesome!

I guess there is no issue. But only the Maemo/MeeGo users would be able to vote and please don't urge Symbian useres to vote for your Application. But as far as I'm able to read from the rules you could publish wherever you want! :)

Reverstris is also aviable for Android if I know right...

you're allowed to publish your app wherever you want.
but you can enter the competition with MeeGo/maemo only

Do you need the feedback? :D

Well, i wouldnt mind a small amount of £££ to subsidise a faster laptop....all the compiling and running virtual machines is making this one seem not so fast! :P

zehjotkah, the link to the http://competition.meetmeego.org/ at your page http://meetmeego.org/ is broken. (under your Coding Competition Logo)

It directs to 2http://competition.meetmeego.org/" instead of http://competition.meetmeego.org/
