i had to reinstall OS and now my cutetube will not authorize my youtube account. it hangs on a black screen with "authorizing youtube account" massage and doing nothing and since the new way of logging in is place i cannot reset my account pls help!

I have version 0.9.10 (read from About page), and I also recently flashed my N900 with the latest eMMC and USA Rootfs images. CuteTube stopped playing and downloading videos after that.

CuteTube says "Playing '<VIDEO>'", but the screen remains black. Tapping the screen shows the player controls, but the slider bar doesn't move.

When downloading videos, they first show up as Paused, and when I click Resume they show Queued and a 1kb *.partial file is created, but no downloading commences. Then, they change to failed.

I tried reinstalling CuteTube twice, even with the --purge argument and reinstalling the Python dependencies (but not gstreamer).

I can watch youtube videos with the browser. KMPlayer works so I don't think gstreamer is the problem. Maybe it has to do with changes in the latest N900 image, have you tested that?

P.S. For people having trouble authenticating their account, paste the password into the textbox instead of typing it.

marxian just updated it to 0.9.11 a few minutes ago.
please update

edit: youtube did a few minor changes in their video page last night. ppl are busy fixing youtube apps all over. this one is covered.

It must have been coincidence they changed it about when I flashed. Version 0.9.11 did the trick. Great.
