It was a bug in my JavaScript code. Xtube 0.4.1-2 should be in extras-devel soon. :)

If I try to open a file with cuteTube player that won't play, instead of alerting the user and stopping gracefully, the player just hangs.
When streaming with cT player, in circumstances where the player needs to buffer, it isn't always obvious what's happening - the video just stops.

These are quite minor bugs but if you've only tested it with good files and a fast connection, you might not have encountered them.

I'm using v0.9.8

yes i noticed the bugs too, the player isn't buffering for me, its not cashing at all ............. and mobile format isn't wokring (you can use the internal flash player instead of gstreamer here )

It's been a while since I've upgraded but now 360p videos won't play. There was a bit of drifting on the KMPlayer but it always played. What's going on with this latest version.

Is some player supposed to work for sure? I tried to use both cutetube player and media player, and both fail. Cutetube player just shows black screen after the loading... text. Media player shows text 'No connection to server'. I tried mobile quality and high quality with same results.

When I download a video and watch it from archive it works great.

Yesterday I had no problem at all. I tried qmltube videos and xtube and they both worked on the internal player. I think I didn't have any problems since internal player was added to qmltube. Always playing videos in High quality, never mobile.

hiya, having some problems with it, when i download vids, it stays at 1kb and when i try to play it it says media format not recognized. Please refer or advise.

seem i found bug, while downlod the speed stay at 46,8 kb/sc till finish.
think the speed should be dynamically. not stack at 46,8 kb/sec

I've taken a look at the source code for the current live streaming page, and it looks like it will be possible, though it may not work in all cases. I'll try it as soon as I get the time. I'm busy adding support for DailyMotion atm. :)

It's working fine for me (with both 'mobile' and 'high quality' streams). It seems that the problem is related to your device.

i have cssu, and power v47, clocked @900mhz with LV, and qml-cutetube is giving me a huge pain in the *** when i'm on it, browsing/downloading whatever, the performance on the phone becomes as slow as ****, and the phone starts to heat up and.......... eventually i have to reboot or close the app ...
anyway i did purge and reinstall the app, but still having the same problems, anyone here might know whats hapenning ?

hey one more thing that when loading the video n when completed, it doesnt save in cache. like u cannot stream it again normally it will still buffer. like utube videos normally, u watch it n can replay without buffering n internet. can this be implemented? and about the streaming buffer bar like the light red one on youtube site which shows the buffer or stream that is loaded

It could be that your file system has become corrupted, resulting in read-only access to your download folder. I've had issues with ./MyDocs becoming corrupted a couple of times now. You could try changing the location, and your existing dowloads will still be detected.

Anyway, did you cut off "search" on the widget?

Can be adjust the size of the widget? (Optional choice in future).

I removed search temporarily because I don't yet know how to obtain keyboard focus, now that I'm not using Quick Widgets to display the widget (I have good reasons for this). I have some ideas, but I need to investigate further when I have time. I will also add settings for the widget at that time. :)

hey can u do one thing. can u like in the next update include the loading bar? as in normal videos n youtube, you see the red loading bar is for how much u have played and the light red bar is for how much is streamed and buffered. can u make support for that so that we know how much is buffered? one more thing that when loading the video n when completed, it doesnt save in cache. like u cannot stream it again normally it will still buffer. like utube videos normally, u watch it n can replay without buffering n internet. can this be implemented?

Nah I understand. You don't have direct bindings. Promotion to extras is difficult. The only thing it gives you is memory savings.

hey marxian, i have one request if u could add a kind of search option in archive videos for searching the videos it will be awesome like if i want to find and play a video i want i can just type the name and it will search for it presently when i'm typing it starts to search a video in youtube this is just an idea if it helps!!!:)

I had a quick look at it a while ago, and did notice some code regarding keyboard focus. When I mentioned earlier that I had some ideas, I didn't mean they were my own. ;) I will have a closer look at q-extras when I get the time. :)
