Cant Install Community SSU
 

Hello! so I did everything that is described in here: http://wiki.maemo.org/Community_SSU

And then the application manager presents me a system upgrade called Maemo 5 Community SSU package

But, when I try to install it its says that I need to used the Nokia PC Suite, to connect my device and launch the application.

So I downloaded the Nokia PC Suite but when I try to upgrade it said that this function is no longer available and that I have to use the Ovi suite. I downloaded the OVI suite and when I try to search for updates for my n900 OS it doesnt detect anything for upgrading.

What is going on in here?

on the Problems tab it says that there is conflict with the following application packages:

libqt4-maemo5-dbus
libqt4-maemo5-core
libqt4-maemo5-xmlpatterns
libqt4-maemo5-webkit
libqt4-maemo5-gui

please help! as I have been waiting this update so we can all use tne n900 in portrait mode!! :)

Ive got 7.5GB of free space, dont you think is enough?

I can try to remove the conflicting packages with apt-get remove but I am afraid that those packages are essential to the n900 to run normally and that I going to break the system and wont be able to use my phone!

what should I do? to free up more space? or to remove those packages??

Hmm, I'm curious why you have those old packages.

80 not upgraded???? wow...where have you been all this time man???
you should always update you files...dont just use HAM or FAM but use x-term for upgrading files that are hidden from HAM or FAM....
no wonder why you have plenty of conflict package while trying to updated to the latest CSSU....
