Did you get in touch with freemangordon in order to include it in the CSSU-thumb repository ?

I've just dropped a question in the CSSU-thumb thread.

Is there a command line for starting a specific playlist in OMP in shuffle?

Mental note: when the transition is stabilized, the OMP wiki needs to be updated with info about CLI starting in car view, etc.

MAFW can be controlled through D-Bus to a great extent, but I don't think it's a one-, two- or three-liner in this case. Someone requested such thing before the latest update and I've added it to my to-do, but I decided to make a release before it's implemented. Maybe next time.

I've got a bluetooth Nokia BH 221 headset, and if I press next, OMP stops playing. So I can't use it with my BT headset. With the stock media player it works fine...

I don't have any Bluetooth headset at all, but we could try some debugging. Run the following:
Code:

dbus-monitor --system "interface=org.freedesktop.Hal.Device,member=Condition"
and, when pressing the button, watch for:
Code:

string "ButtonPressed"
string "some-button-type"

"some-button-type" should be "next-song". Does it appear there and is it the only detected button?

I experienced the dissappearing now playing bug too. Sadly enough I have no idea how it happened and why it happened. Just as vague as this is, no logs or whatever :(

In reaction to sixwheeledbeast: I have my phone application locked to landscape but I havent had a call for weeks...

No issues so far with the latest version.
I normally have more calls/media player action during work. As this is holiday season I'll start to monitor it over January.

I think you misunderstood me a little bit. I experienced it today with the newest version ;) Maybe I wrote down in a bit unfortunate way...

Not having any issue with the thumb version. Feels smoother than non-thumb version. Thanks for the thumb version.
