My unit goes bezerk and lags when rotation is in action.

gidzzz I've patched the openmediaplayer.pro so it rebuilds the translation qm files in the qmake phase

I've built it against current gitorious source, but it also works with the source you submitted to extras-devel

patch is attached, you can apply it with git am, or if you prefer I can create a merge-request on gitorious

datjomp, it wouldn't work with forced rotation anyway... Just add OMP on the transitions.ini blacklist.

I would rather like to see an option in settings where I can choose
landscape. I never use portrait mode you know.

i gave the OMP a try since it's already in the repos. :) nice work.
sorry if i didn't read through all the pages, it's already quite long. do we have a thread for requests or should i just post them here? (i'm posting them anyway. :p)
someplayer's my player of choice because it's feature-rich and its features are actually very functional like:
1. "sleep timer"
2. reassign the volume rocker as next/prev buttons (if possible make it such that a quick press means volume up/down and a long press means next/prev, just like in sony ericsson phones)
3. equalizer
are there any plans to accommodate such things in the OMP?

i'd also love a video playlist of sorts. or a method sorting by folders. i have downloaded some tedtalks, some movie trailers, some music vids, etc and saved them on individual folders. in the media player all videos get mixed up... i currently use sib to make a pseudo-"playlist by folder" because i can make it show videos from only one folder at a time.
