A new version is available:

• Added an option to open all songs from a folder.
• Stopping the playback on exit is now the default behavior.
• New translations: Russian by wow23, Czech by Linnar.
• When changing song/radio, info is updated even in the stopped state.
• The radio window displays better info and looks more like the stock one.
• Added an option to edit radio bookmarks.

The first feature might be interesting for people who want to create a playlist from a folder. To do so, go to the player settings and check an option called "Open whole folders". Whenever you've got that enabled, selecting a song from a file browser (like the stock one or FileBox) will not only play that song, but also make a playlist from all songs contained within its folder. For this to work, you need to either replace the stock player (instructions on the wiki page), or have the player opened in the background before selecting a song.

With this version, a few (3, IIRC) translatable strings have been added. If you're one of the translators and care to provide an update, go to http://gitorious.org/~gidzzz/qt-medi...es/master/lang to obtain the latest files to work with.

I've corrected corrected Polish translation (many minor fixes - typos, some orographic errors etc.) - I've used openmediaplayer.pl.ts from:
http://gitorious.org/~gidzzz/qt-medi...es/master/lang
...so I'm not sure if it contains those new 3 strings (ho ever, I downloaded it *after* new version of OMP was released). Corrected version in attachment.

Hi! i really love this program but just two problems are preventing me from using it as a replacement.

1. it doesnt seem to work with headset control where i can use the headset to pause or change tracks

2. it doesnt work with TV Player either. the streams never seem to open when i use OMP to replace the stock media player!

if u could sort these out i would be so grateful!!

after updating, i found option in setting for "open whole folders"... but... what does it do and in what way???

where is option to create pls from folder(s)??? :confused:

tested and it is working

also, it don't remember settings after OMP restarts...

"open whole folders" check-box is unchecked, and "size of automatic playlist" when changed is not remembered (showing blank field instead)

i think you should only put an option into "playlist" view for "playlist from folder", and when pressed, to popup dialog for selecting which folder to play music from! and when it generate playlist, to show it, with "shuffle all" button on top (like for all other playlist it generates/imports/etc) this is good if you have sub-folders with music...
consider that, i think it could be a best way (or maybe you had something other on your mind???)

needles to say, but: kudos to you! ;)
