now here comes the part of updating policy .
choose no for every one except click.
choose yes only for click

it will make you mad but you have to go to the settings of it some how .
try taping it again and again , use the camkeyd to switch between windows , i hope this will work .

needless to say iam a noob, you mentioned winSCP, i have installed it but its asking for host name, server address etc. i don't have any of these so wot do I do next? any assistance welcomed, btw, thats for the thread.

from your n900 install openssh server .
after installation a window will pop up it self .
a xterminal window , there it will ask you to set a password.
set it as you want .

it is the password to give in WINSCP and the user name is root.
and the host name is your router's ip address.
to find it out if you dont know again open a new xterminal and type sudo gainroot and ifconfig scroll up a bit and you will see WLAN and if front of it the ip address let say 192.168.1.2 it's a common address , your might be different that's what you all need , and leave everything as it is.

you just need three things , host name , user and password.

I use catorize to put applications in categories. Is there a way to use QBW to create a desktop widget that takes you straight to one of the categories?

So for example, a QBW widget that goes straight to the 'games' category of catorize.

ammm , i dont think so , couse i have asked the same question but in other sense but nicolai said this is not possible. The maemo desktop(s) are not like
other desktops in windows or linux (gnome/kde).
There is no support to handle files or folders on the
desktop.

ammm , the HTC clock and weather widget ?
well if you are asking for HTC one then to be honest i didn't like it , i mean i dont like having lots of widgets on one desktop.
you can use Omweather widget and digi clock widget for time.

its quite easy to do , and brings me 1 step closer to my dream portrait homescreen!

now if i could only get a nice weather script for my homescreen! oh! and a nice media player that works in portrait and im done! :D :D :D

lol one step closer for me to be able to throw my fist in the air while "dont you forget about me" is playing in the background! :D:D:D:D

i added the dock to my desktop posted by ammyt..but i didn't import any command to make the phone icon to work..could you please help me with how and what command i'm supposed to add?

make a new Queen Beecon Widget and click edit cmd and add a title and under it this command .

ok after you have added a scriipt , there are few things you need to do to get a fine result.

the box under Command title settings heading is the one where you type the name of the image you wanted to use and have placed it in the required directory ( /home/user/MyDocs/.image/.queen_beecon_dir or /home/user/.queen_beecon_dir)

you mean clicking on the + sign on the dockbar also opens the phone app ?

if it is then you should change the size of this beecon .
in the settings of the queen beecon widget you have made , at the top of it , there are 2 sliders of width and height .
change the width so it only covers the phone icon in the dock bar.
and for the codes for conversation and contacts check the first post of this thread .
the codes are there .

wa'alaikum-us-salam .
buddy , as i am not a coder so dont know much about it but as far as i know qbw codes usually start with [queen-beecon-header]
means this script as it is wont work in qbw .
if you want this script to work , you have to contact any coder or have to wait for any coder to read your post and make one script for you .

the code mentioned above , put it in new qbw .

steps :
1- add a new qbw on desktop.
2- got to add cmd
3- give it a title
4- add this code in the second line
5- save and run and tada ;)

and i will post my codes in next post .
