N900 user here. Upgraded and downloaded wms_settings.ini.txt (from post #169)to /home/user/MyDocs/.mapsi and still Mapsi says file not found.
Libqtm-12 is up to date.
My text editor (gedit) on Ubuntu cannot open the file. Should it?
Just for information I didn't try previous version (3.4.9) at all so cannot say if the problem occurred on update.

Did you remember to rename the file (drop the ".txt" postfix from the name)?

I have not any problem with 3.5.5 and N900 so far. Finnish and also swedish WMS servers working with that WMS setting ini. As Kung Foo said your (shanttu) problem sounds like you did not remove .txt extension.

That was it. Shoud have read the instructions once again.
Settings-file still does not open on Ubuntu but on Windows does.

I just updated from 2.4.9 to 3.5.5 (N900).

I'm wondering whetter there are some problem with displaying geocaches (in 2.4.9 and 3.5.5)? I noticed already with version 2.4.9 that all geocaches in displayed area are not shown anymore (in my device at least):confused:

Anyone else having same kind of experiences?

Yes, it is a bug (and probably happens also with landmarks). I'll try to fix it to the next version. For temporary fix you can edit settings.ini and change cols value from 7 to 9 and rows from 5 to 7.

I also noticed that GPS track distance is calculated wrong. That's also going to be fixed to the next version.

Missä muodossa noita koordinaatteja pitäs voida syöttää? Voin sen landmarkin lisäämislaatikon koordinaattien arvoista tehdä sellasia, että niitä voi muuttaa. Sillon koordinaatit saa syötettyä ETRS-TM35FIN- ja lat/lon desimaalimuodoissa.

tuo olisi hienoa jos landmarkkeja voisi muuttaa kuten kirjoitit,
toinen juttu mikä olisi helpottava jos map database filen voisi valita klikkaamalla, nyt en keksinyt muuta keinoa kuin käydä filemanagerilla renemella muuttaen tiettyjen alueiden map databaset omiksi paketeiksi, ja muuttaen ne tarpeen tullen wms.db:ksi, näin tuo file ei kasva älyttömän suureksi.

When copy&paste comes to N9, please add support for it. By using cheap (40 euros) TK-102 gps-reciever is easy to track anything (like dog, car etc). Cheapest and battery friendly way is to call to the tracker, then it sends coordinates by sms.
