unbale to find omap1 after installation of linux power kernel
hi friends,
to power up my n900 i installed linux-power-kernel47,and latest version of kernel power bootimg via xterm,but during reboot i was only with linux-power-kernel in my multiboot option,i want both omap1 and power kernel on my multiboot option so that i can switch between them. what to do to get omap1 back??? thanks... |
Re: unbale to find omap1 after installation of linux power kernel
You have to write an entry in /etc/multiboot.d/
I think. I can't remember right now. Why do you need it? They're both very similar and you don't get the option by default as it isn't really needed anymore |

Re: unbale to find omap1 after installation of linux power kernel
But if you want a boot option save the folllowing text in /etc/multiboot.d as 9-maemoomap.item :
ITEM_NAME="Maemo 2.6.28-omap1" ITEM_KERNEL=2.6.28-omap1 ITEM_MODULES=ext3 to be extra cleat the file path is etc/multiboot.detc/multiboot.d/9-maemoomap1.item |
