How can I force Canola to use the Hamachi NIC?
Hi Folks ;)
I'd really like to use Canola via a Hamachi VPN-tunnel. I can easily telnet into my UPnP trough hamachi, but I don't get any connection with Canloa. I guess Canola only uses the wlan0 interface to search for media streams, and does not care for the ham0 interface. Or is there a mistake in my thoughts? Please excuse my poor English, I'm out of school too long and I also don't use it very often  Thnx, McK |

I've also been trying to do this so look forward to any input to this thread...
What did you follow in order to install hamachi as I seem to be having problems. |

Re: How can I force Canola to use the Hamachi NIC?
Uhhh.... well, I'm not that deep with Linux. I've installed hamachi according to this Thread:
http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...hlight=hamachi But I guess, I've found a solution for my problem. The hamachi Version for Windows seems to have some bug. With the newes Version I'm unable to play Titan Quest wth some friends of mine. If we use Version 1.0.1.5, erverything works fine. I'll install 1.0.1.5 later on my server and post the results. |

Re: How can I force Canola to use the Hamachi NIC?
I'm trying to install Hamachi on my n800 os2007. I was able to run hamachi-init but when i run tuncfg i get:
"/bin/sh: tuncfg: Permission denied" if i type "sudo tuncfg" nothing happens. I'm suprised this isn't more popular since it allows you to use VNC to home pc from anywhere. I Actually prefer browsing the web though rDesktop using firefox on my desktop in fulscreen, its FAST and uses the desktops resources instead of the n800's |
Re: How can I force Canola to use the Hamachi NIC?
