Re: Qt example widget

That is Same Game, and is one of the examples in the Qt Docs: http://doc.qt.nokia.com/4.7/demos-de...-samegame.html

The easiest way to have it as a widget is to put the example source code into a directory and use the Quick Widgets application to launch the main.qml file.

hey so u mean i should download the first file from this page that u gave savegame.qml and then i should place it on desktop using quick widgets?

Re: Qt example widget

You will need all the files, but you can get them from the repositories. The package is qt4-declarative-samegame.

Install this and load the samegame.qml file using Quick Widgets. :)

Re: Qt example widget

have you got extras-devel enabled? For quick-widgets you will need it anyway. BUT USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Re: Qt example widget

hey thankyoo so much but what do i do with it>?

Re: Qt example widget

Unpack the tar ball.
Start quick-widgets from the application menu. Then click on the qml button. Find the samegame.qml from the tarball and select it.
Then tick 'fixed width' and enter 400 x 360 and Done.

Re: Qt example widget

BTW, you can play with the width and height to suit your taste. These were quick guesses from looking at the source file. The original game size is much bigger and unsuitable as a widget.
