You on crack, man?

Ugh, go back to Androidland and find some Tegra 2 superspec phone. Having NVTegra WILL introduce problems re open-source drivers, and even porting newer versions of Android.

You do know how large a (real) 2100mAh battery is right? You expect this to weigh 130g?

- Accelerometer sensor for UI auto-rotate
UI auto-rotate has got to be one of the worst ideas ever. For example, I can't see myself using portrait mode on the N900 aside from the game Battleship. I already have a HW keyboard, and the dialer works well in landscape.

On Android, landscape UI is a FFFFFUGLY. (exception would be Honeycomb)

Java Yes, via Java MIDP emulator
You now realize the majority of Android apps are running in a Java sandbox. And MIDP for the most part was a hunking POS.

I assume that shooter has a decent lens? My N95 still shoots better than a N900, iPhone 4 and the Nexus One.

In a couple years this would be obsolete. In fact it would be obsolete next year.
Also, it's not a theory. It's speculah.

First of all Nvidia not Nvidea , secondly almost everything that you wrote are pretty common in Android devices , besides no one especially Nokia gives a damn about your "dream phone"

Insane....... :D
dual xenon flash for a phone? Want a phone that can shoot hyperbeams? lol

And 2MP front camera? 0.o Wonder how choppy can you get with your video call with that. I'd rather go for a low resolution with smooth streaming.

Why is everyone being so rude? The person just posted some specs based on their wishes.

These types of replies hurt the forum. We should be far
more accepting of differing perspectives.

Well, that perspective shows little awareness of the perspective here. One shouldn't stride into a lion's den expecting mice. When in Rome, don't speak pig Latin.

Even so. There's no need to try to cut people down to size.

This is a common problem that I see with Maemo. These forums are not approachable places. People with different ideas or perspectives are generally met with snarky put-downs, which is not terribly inclusive to outsiders that are genuinely interested in getting involved.

But Maemo/MeeGo needs people to build the community, and not all of them will be computer scientists, developers, or software engineers. Some will be enthusiasts willing to share an idea (maybe an implausible one, or even a bad one), but lack of expertise does not imply that all ideas will be poor. Reading threads like this will turn people off from sharing and severely limit the intake of new users.

That sounded an awful lot liked canned commentary.

Nope.. From my brain to this thread..

I have talked about it before, though.
