Insane, really. Scrolling up and down a neverending list of meaningless icons is so much more complicated than a set of well-organized folders. I demand those people to be beheaded.

Folders are overrated. Seriously, as long as you somehow can "group" similar items together, like you can on the N9, folders are more confusing than helpful. The N900 has got the same, but it's less intuitive.

The N9 in a few weeks, and every day now Bada 2.0 is coming, I guess Santa Claus is very confused these days :D

Link? Link?

I am not buying that. The NFC controller would have already been discovered by now, not to mention the aerial. So no, I don't think the N8 has NFC (even though I would like to be wrong about this).

Good for you (that you have Nokia online shop). Bad for you (that you won't get the N9 :D )

I like the N9, but it's not a succesor to the N900, it's more of a slight upgrade in some respects, and a step back in some hardware features. I realise they're marketing this to the mass market more, and I think it will do well, it looks slick. However, it lacks that myriad of options that are available on the N900 -- removable battery, microSD, FM transmitter, FM radio, front camera?, hw keyboard, protected camera, IR etc. -- which make the N900 a really versatile device despite its bulk.

I don't see why they don't make the N950 a proper release, instead of making it an unsupported neutered device at launch. I would be far more interested in something that trades of a bit of size for the hw keyboard and other features. But it doesn't even look like, as a regular consumer, I can get an N950 (and it's missing interesting things like NFC and the AMOLED screen anyway).

That graphical budget projection from when Elop took control. The green bar representing MeeGo just got thinner, but not disappeared ;)

Ohhh, allright... let's say I actually buy that (Like saying if you eat half a cake, and then half of what's left, and so on, you can never really finish eating the cake :) ).

Could you give me the Nokia Meego device a year link?

For those complaining about the lack of physical keyboard, don't judge until you see and feel the virtual keyboard implementation on this device... First time ever I want to use the on-screen keyboard more than the physical...
